August was a crazy month for us...trying to get back into the swing of things after being gone for a few weeks, then Ian starting school, and looking forward to a visit from my parents...plus there were a ton of birthday parties.  It seemed like every weekend we had something going on.

Ian still loves his Legos, he comes up with numerous creations every chance he gets

The staining process took a loooong time (still needs another coat but that will have to wait until next spring)

While Grammy and Pop-pop were in town, we decided to catch the King Tut exhibit

King Tut, glad we were able to see it, but dang it cost us an arm and a leg
